Mauritius is located in the southwest Indian Ocean, off the east coast of Madagascar. It is part of the Mascarene archipelago along with Reunion Island and Rodrigues.
The dive center is located on the East coast of Mauritius. Most dives happen on this side of the Island. However, on your request and according to weather conditions, excursions can be organized to other parts of the Island (c.f. map below). All dive trips are accompanied by a fully trained PADI certified instructor and employ frequently checked and maintained equipment.
The East
Do you like the deep blue, big fish and big surprises? Dive in the East! The extraordinary diving potential on this side of the Island is unfortunately unknown. The East side of the island is exposed to the fair trade winds and can get pretty windy between July and October, making diving outside the reef complicated. During calm periods however, diving in the East is fantastic. Our most popular advanced dive is a drift-dive in the reef channel of Belle Mare. The giant trevally, the eagle ray and the white-tip reef shark are not rare to encounter...just hang on a rock and look up!
